My Story

The Journey that led me to Now

Irena is a Psychedelic Assisted therapist, Mental Health coach, a seeker of inner freedom, authenticity and empowerment. A teacher and a Student of the YOUniversity of life.

My path into this work was shaped by the desire to find out who I was without the pain and the suffering. It began by a rollercoaster of rock bottom moments followed by waves of spiritual awakenings interwoven into an ongoing experience of what felt like death and rebirth.

From a young age I carried unhealed trauma and PTSD that left me feeling alienated from the world around me. Facing my own wounds became unavoidable, and through shadow work, deep reflection, and countless practices, I slowly found my way into post-traumatic growth. Much of this journey I walked alone, learning to sit with the darker aspects of the human psyche, not with fear, but with curiosity, acceptance, and compassion. That journey showed me something essential: while we each carry the ability to heal within ourselves, no one should have to do it entirely alone.

Drawn to the unknown, I left Argentina after high school to discover who I was beneath the conditioning that never felt like mine. For nearly a decade, I lived nomadically all over the world. I crossed oceans on sailboats, taught scuba diving, worked in coral reef restoration, and volunteered in environmental research. Witnessing the decline of the ocean I loved so dearly was heartbreaking, yet it cracked me open to something deeper, a recognition that our disconnection from nature mirrors our disconnection from ourselves, and that healing is a return to both.

When I returned to Canada in 2020, I began to notice more clearly the pain that people carry such as stress, trauma, isolation, and disconnection, I could only recognize it as a reflection of previous mental states I experienced myself, and it sparked a desire to become a helper, I didn’t know how, but I wanted to find out. I started with my own exploration of energy work offering sessions and later I was introduced to magic mushrooms, which became both a healing ally and a teacher. What began as a profoundly personal transformation quickly grew into a calling to serve others. Now, my work is an integration of all I’ve lived and learned: intuitive techniques, shamanic practices, and clinical approaches drawn from psychology and therapy. I offer a wide range of tools that are process accelerators for upgrading your mind and the way you experience life, always with a client-centred focus. Because everyone’s healing process is unique, each transformation and each journey is a story that belongs to you, and those are so precious because nothing else in the world truly belongs to anyone. Except for your journey, that’s yours.

In 2023, I became a certified Psychedelic-Assisted Therapist, and I also hold certification as a Life Skills Coach. I am currently pursuing formal studies in Counselling to deepen my clinical foundation, while staying rooted in humility, curiosity, and care. I see myself as a bridge between people and the medicine, whether that’s mushrooms, therapeutic modalities, or the ancient wisdom already alive within each of us. I am deeply passionate about this work and hold profound respect and reverence for those I work with. I lead with empathy and care as my compass, honouring the courage and strength it takes to step into the alchemy of your own healing.

This work is not just what I do. It’s who I am.
